AT&T & Verizon Palm Pre Plus owners soak in webOS 1.4.5
Just as expected the webOS 1.4.5 update for the Verizon Palm Pre Plus started to roll out yesterday, but interestingly enough, it appears as though AT&T customers sporting the carrier's variant of the device is also being treated to the same thing. The unexpected turn of events should naturally come to be great news for device owners wanting the opportunity to check out and play some games that are made available to webOS 1.4.5 – such as Angry Birds.
Interestingly enough, it's unknown whether or not AT&T's update for webOS 1.4.5 will follow similarly to the one Verizon is putting out. However, the situation is even stranger as it appears as though there is no mention about improved battery life and better Mobile HotSpot functionality with Windows Vista 64-bit on Palm's release notes for Verizon's webOS 1.4.5 update. We'll have to wait and see what kind of enhancements or other items are included with either updates from Palm.
