ASUS is usually quick to update its tablets. Even the Asus Padfone 2 recently was updated by the manufacturer. But for those with the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T who want Android 4.2.1 on their tablet, you can either wait for ASUS to make the update official or you can check out a ROM being offered by XDA. To show the dedication behind the task, the audio code has been written from scratch so that the audio will work with the update.

Still, the ROM doesn't bring totally functionality. The GPS and the camera do not work and we should point out that the update comes from the official Android Open Source Project code base. If your tablet is rooted, you can follow the directions from the sourcelink to install the tablet. Remember, this is best left to those who know what they're doing because doing this will void your warranty and could brick your tablet.
If you do decide to go ahead and take the risk, let us know how you like Android 4.2.1 on your ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T. You can drop a comment in the box below!
