50% Spotify Premium student discount now available in 33 new countries, check to see if you're eligible

Spotify is enlarging its "Premium for Students" deal to epic proportions. Until now, Spotify offered Premium accounts at 50% off for all students based in the US, UK, and Germany, but today, the company announced that the service is expanding to 33 new countries.
This means that eligible university/college students in any year of study will be able to go Premium for about $5 per month.
There are three major advantages of being a Premium subscriber:
- Ad-free, uninterrupted access to Spotify's entire music collection
- Downloading music to the app so it's available for offline play
- Better sound quality through 320 kbps streaming
