5" LG Optimus G Pro hits shelves in Japan, US to follow in Q2
While the US is still waiting on the promised Q2 date for the launch of the LG Optimus G Pro flagship here, the phone got official in Japan. It's the 5" reincarnation, not the exclusive 5.5" behemoth that the homeland of South Korea received not long ago, and already logged some impressive sales numbers.

The phone is part of the NTT DoCoMo spring portfolio, and, besides the 5" Full HD display panel, features the modern Snapdragon 600 chipset with 4G LTE connectivity, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, 13 MP camera and a monster swappable 3000 mAh battery, plus a memory card slot for storage expansion.

At least on paper these specs make it a lot of flagship for the money this season, so we can't wait for its North American counterpart to sail across the ocean and land on US carriers some time this quarter.
