| The new 3G RAZR opened |
The Engadget Mobile team got their hands on the latest Motorola to-become-a-hit phone the 3G version of the RAZR, which they call a V3x look-alike. The V3x is actually 3G RAZR phone but for the Europe market, while this one (still its model is unknown) supports 850/1900 MHz UMTS, which is for America, and most probably for Cingular. As it supports Video Calling, it has a secondary VGA camera for that, while the main unit is 2-megapixel one located on the front. The body combines nice dark blue and silver colors in overall RAZR-thin body.
Boy Genius says that the new phone is much faster than any other Motorola, and fully boots for as little as 5 seconds. It has 64MB of internal memory expandable with microSD cards that are commonly used in Motorola phones. A nice feature is that the phone supports A2DP Bluetooth profile for stereo streaming of audio. The keypad is also in RAZR style with blue backlight.
It will be probably launched before the end of the year.
