3D game engine by Havok is available free for mobile developers
Havok, the Ireland based company is known for their homonymous engine, designed primarily for video games. With its mind-blowing levels of realism, a lot of developers are taking advantage of the real-time collisions and dynamics of rigid bodies that it provides. Dynamic simulation is being used for creating more realistic virtual worlds in games with Havok. Now, the Irish guys are offering a completely new 3D mobile game engine: Project Anarchy, and one of its perks is that it is absolutely free. Another perk is that a vast variety of operating systems are supported, such as Android, iOS and Tizen (soon WP8 as well). There isn't any commercial restriction, based on a given company, nor on a revenue level. Developers are free to test, create and enjoy Project Anarchy's physics tools, animation suites, AI, etc. Make sure you check the link next to the source, leading you to anarchy... or more like Project Anarchy's official website. We, at PhoneArena, are looking forward to what developers could do with that engine, not only in terms of games.
