$199.99 buys you the Samsung Continuum, on contract from Verizon after rebate
A couple of days ago, we showed you a leaked Verizon price list that had the dual screen Samsung Continuum priced at an after rebate price of $199.99 with a 2 year contract. Now, we have a good look at some internal on-line communications for the carrier, which shows that our initial story was right on target.
On November 11th, the Continuum will be launched at an after rebate price of $199.99 with a 2 year contract. As we have pointed out numerous times, this appears to be the price that top of the line handsets are going for. The rebate is worth $100, which means that if you buy the handset through Big Red, you should be prepared to lay out 3 Franklins. With a 1 year contract, the after rebate price is $269.99. Off-contract, the price tag reads $579.99.

The Samsung Continuum will be launched with Android 2.1 and besides the 3.4 inch Super AMOLED screen weighing in at 480 x 800 pixels, near the bottom of the device there is a small 1.8 inch display at 480 x 96 pixels that is called the "Ticker". The Ticker will show you messages and alerts while keeping your battery from running down.
