10,000 LeTV Max special edition handsets offered in pink and gold
The well spec'd LeTV Max is now available in gold or pink as a special edition model. The gold hued variant is priced at the equivalent of $924 USD, while the pink colored handset will cost you $972 USD. Additionally, the 6.33-inch, 1440 x 2560 resolution screen is protected by sapphire glass for the special edition phones. This makes it the strongest, toughest screen in the market for now.

The LeTV Max is driven by the Snapdragon 810 chipset, and includes 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Sony's IMX230 sensor is found on the rear-facing 20.7MP camera, and a 4MP Ultrapixel camera is on front to snap selfies and handle video chats. The phablet has a 3400mAh battery, and Android 5.0 is pre-installed with LeTV's proprietary UI running on top. There are also a number of freebies tossed in, such as a subscription for streaming television service, a VIP hotline, and special luxury packaging.

Only 10,000 units of the special edition will be made, although we're not sure if that means 5,000 units of each color, or twice that amount. LeTV hasn't revealed a launch date yet, so if you're interested in this very limited special edition of the LeTV Max, stay tuned!

Thanks for the tip!
