I'd only go portless if you can transfer files universally via Quick Share because it works like a thing of beauty. But then I won't be able to back up files to an SD card like I can currently, so I guess my answer's no like everyone else.

"All"? Are you sure about that? There are still quite a few people using Note 20 Ultras, Xperias & other devices that still have an SD card slot.

Trying to clutch at straws and play semantics won’t help you at all here bud. 😂

Yes, let's be honest, the USB-C port was never made for charging, nor having the cable put in and taken out multiple times a day. You don't have to search long to find users who can no longer charge their device through USB-C because the little pin connector has gotten loose. So a portless phone would be preferable or better yet, a new port that looks like lightning-port, but is open standard and as fast or faster than USB-C

What's the point?

It's not that I'm going to dive with my phone. wireless charging is slownot to mention transporting big files

Nope. Nothing beats a direct connection when troubleshooting, charging or transferring media.

Not sure. I like the "warm and fuzzy" feeling having a USBc port gives me.

Hell no.

A portless phone means u can only charge your phone wireless.

Which means u need to buy a wireless charger.

I'm a traditional person and I am accustomed to charge by wire.

Still I am willing to go wireless... if wireless charging is that fast.

Qi1 is at mere 15W only, even Qi2 is only 25W, same as my phones wired charging. (Yes samsungs charging speed is not sth I'm proud of)

So why would I go buy a Qi2 case AND a wireless charger if it's the same speed as wired?

Moreover file transfer is much faster by cable. I don't transfer files that much, but when I do I plug a USB in it and the file is transferred without hassle.

What is the benefit of a portless phone then?

Mainly Aesthetics.

Slimmer phone is NOT a benefit.

Bigger battery? Maybe.

That's about it.
