Why would you switch to an iPhone or an Android?

Samsungs less reflective screen in the s24 ultra is a beauty to behold. My boss has an iPhone 15 pro max and we were showing each other stuff on our phones and he kept commenting on how he didn't understand why my phone looked less reflective and easier to see than his and he kept looking up at the lights and was like maybe I'm at a different angle. iPhone users have no idea what's out there. If you plan on switching, get the s24 ultra.

I had som iPhones in the past, long software support. But android brands now get that to. Samsung and Google Pixel.

Even Motorolas latest device get 5 year of OS updates.

But after a few years with android I may go for some iPhone next time.

I switched from android to IOS because i was just tired of apps crashing and after a major update apps wont open and to me its the worst thing that can happen when you want to use a app and cant after a update and have to wait 3 days for another update to fix that issue. BID NO NO switched to the 13 pro max at the time and not one issue ever since and lets not forget the system ui garbage crashing or pop up saying system is not responding thats s**t irritated the s**t out of me. Switched to IOS never looked back.Lets make something clear here i was using top of the line devices from nsamsung notes to ASUS rog phones ultra and pro series top of the line devices always.

Oh because apps never crash on iOS.

When I hear someone claims they jad an issue and switch and no longer have them, I know it is a complete lie.

I left iOS because I need to be able to have sdcard usage. As a tech on the road, I use sdcards quite often.

In my phone, laptop, anx desktop I have card readers

If Apple would have just dis mass storage where I can store my own data, I may never have switched.

Now Samsung removed it from the S. Which is why I still have my N20U.

I might be forced to get the S25U, but I have an unused N20U that surely will last me 4 yeats with no problem.

IOS is boring, doesnt play nice with Windows or anyone else.

I repair phones a d tablets and Apple products are the ones I spend the most time fixing.

In 2024 along, I have already replaced over 30,000 displays and screens due to breaks. Over 2000 cameras foe the same. And over 10,000 devices with broken rear glass.

Many of Apple.product being resold on eBay and others have been repaired by me and my company.

I don't think I will switch back. But the 16 PM looks good. I like the new bronze color.

Its funny how i said was because sd card not a apps crash issue or anything else that is the big difference and i do understand your switch you need that sd slot like myself as a tech i always have 2 usb pen drives on my keys but one thing id for sure i never and i mean ever hear a person say they switched to android because ios was crashing or freezing or unresponsive.

I have never owned a apple phone. Android is always cheaper. I don't like the apple company. The bite out of the apple, company logo, that Steve Jobs put in, references to Eve and Adam taking a bite out of the fruit. Corresponds to the fall of man kind. I would not be a part of a company glorifying the world's down fall. I am not saying that their products are bad or good.

I switched from the iPhone to Pixel when the Pixel 2 came out and I've been happy with Pixels ever since. I still use an iPhone 13 Pro as my work phone and it's solid, but Pixel 9 Pro is my personal device of choice, paired with Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds. I haven't had any issues and I feel like their ecosystem is high quality. It used to be that you couldn't have a smartwatch or earbuds that were as good as Apple's offerings, but that's no longer the case. And with Apple adopting RCS the blue/green bubble debate is further nullified.

On the flip side, I like seeing Apple adding addition customization to their OS. I don't think you can go wrong with either brand, but I do think Google is ahead on AI while Apple still has stronger hardware overall (but not by much or in a way that meaningfully impacts the average user).

I haven't liked Apple from the days when I was a PC gamer and upgraded my PC every 6 months to have something cutting edge. At that time Apple computers couldn't hang and couldn't be upgraded like PCs so ever since then Apple has been on my S List.

Go on to now and I'm a loyal Android user, right now I'm strictly Samsung in my household but that may change as different manufacturers create things that are enticing.

I just recently bought a S24 Plus 512GB and my coworker was like "Is that a new iPhone?" And I'm like "No it's a new Samsung" she says "I've been thinking of switching to try out Samsung" and I told her "Don't bother, if you know the Apple ecosystem don't bother jumping over to Samsung it's not worth it." I honestly don't understand why anyone would jump ecosystems right now. If you have money invested in either ecosystem why would you throw everything away and have to rebuy everything just because you are enticed by the other side? It's like dudes who cheat on their wives because they get tempted by something that they've never had before. It doesn't make any sense to me.
