Yup, Good old polycarbonate that Nokia used on their old Lumia phones made for a durable device. I remember some reviewers writing about them as being "built like a tank".

Now the earth suffers because nokia screwed up and they are in the landfill for 10 million years they are so tough.

Only if they can be customized for notification alerts. Otherwise LEDs should not ever be added to phones beyond the camera flash LED.

If they are done in a tasteful and useful manner they look good and make sense. The ones on the Nothing Phone 1 look cheap and the phone looks like something made to entice a teenager.

the way the lights/screens are done on the back of ASUS ROG Phone looks better and fits the “gamer aesthetic” they are going for, while Nothing Phone just looks kinda weird.

Hard no for me. It’s a phone, not a lightbulb.

But it looks so cool though!! ? Especially when you can customize the way the lightbulb acts!
