T-Mobile Dash by HTC... did not last a whole two years to make it through the contract - died after 16 months. Buggy as all get out, too. If I was working on a spreadsheet on the phone, no one could call me because the phone would start ringing, and would not stop ringing until I had pulled out the battery. I did like that phone, overall, while it lasted, but it was truly the worst phone I ever owned. For a few years, I would occasionally think about the possibility of owning another HTC device, especially when the HTC One M8 came out, but my better senses prevailed, and I did not jump on that band-wagon again; and now, I am not very surprised that they (HTC) are nearly gone from this world...

Definitely the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8… a horrible phone ridden with bugs and glitches. But it was pretty and cheap.

Galaxy S5. It was my 1st android phone after my Lumia 920. The S5 was buggy as hell. I could never get Bluetooth to work right in my car. All I wanted was to be able to say call so and so, but it would insist on using some homegrown Samsung app for the task instead of the google app. I got rid of it after 6 months.

Why is he comparing a phone from 2016 (that had overheating issues) with one that's 7 years newer (and doesn't have overheating issues)? Maybe you need to work on your reading comprehension.

No smoothbrain. He didn't compare it to a phone that's 7 years newer. He mentioned that his current phone, of the same brand, doesn't have the same issues. Pointing out that it isn't a brand issue but was specific to that one model. You are easily one of the dumbest, most braindead Samsung fanboys on this website. Think before you speak. You won't make a fool of yourself so much.

??Whether they're the same brand or not, the phones are seven years apart & not even in the same category ergo, no relevance.

I guess because he doesn't have ⚾️⚾️'s to explain himself you decided to be his groupie & moronically answer on his behalf; clearly pointing out that you are easily one of the dumbest, most braindead Apple she-trolls on this website.

Loved that oppo find 5.

It was such a fantastic phone. The screen was pretty much unrivaled when it came out, the performance was snappy, camera was pretty solid for the time, the build quality was incredible and most importantly the community surrounding that phone was insane.

I remember browsing the Oppo forums, so many good experiences. Learning how to root the phone, flash custom roms, trying all sorts of things. I miss that about the current android landscape.

Pixel 6 Pro

When I bought mine, the promise of FaceID was still very much a headline story, then it slowly dwindled to "Pro model only," meaning the baseline Pixel 6 wouldn't get FaceID. Okay, no problem, I thought, because I had purchased the Pro model. Then slowly I heard nothing more... at all. Finally I researched it a bit, and found that they got FaceID in the Pixel 7, but essentially abandoned all efforts at fixing the Pixel 6. So here I am, holding a device that I spent hundreds of dollars based on a broken promise. And for the other biometric input - the fingerprint reader - although it's better after several firmware updates, is still not up to par with competing phones. Oh yes, and speaking of firmware updates, the Pixel 6 takes a ridiculously long time to install, even to the point where I'm afraid to install it at all unless It's hooked up to a charger.

I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy A53. It's much slower and doesn't have as much memory, but for less than half the price of the Pixel, I have a working FaceID, fingerprint scanner, and updates are much quicker.

I should have just stuck with my Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

I may or may not return to Samsung for my next upgrade, but I can promise that it won't be another damn Pixel.

Everything you said was spot on. Comparing that phone to a Samsung S4 was night and day in the build quality.

The way they chose to handle the updates is certainly weird and annoying, it takes hours to complete. Although it's possible to use the phone during the process, I would rather wait a few minutes and get it done, the way Samsung does it.
