Continuation of my former post (because of character limit):

-Touchscreens are rather long lived, yet many vendors force us to use the remaining few buttons VERY frequently, which leads to wobbly buttons being one of the most often reasons for phones not being useable anymore. This could easily be avoided by decent software, which enables changing volume using a slider on screen and waking/sleeoping the phone by srceen double tap. But they don't.. which are just two reasons for needing custom ROMs.

-vendors intentionally making usage of custom ROMs/bootloaders harder and harder with pathetic excuse 'for safety reasons'. Man, I am flashing a custom ROM onto my phoine to do a LOT of even more 'insane' stuff! I know what I am doing and it's MY hardware that I legally BOUGHT and paid for! So media should tell vendors this is NOT an acceptable practise.

-Batteries have to swapable easily for anyone! Anything else needs to result in a lower rating of a device!

-Being 'thin' is an utterly irrelevant property when phones are way too LONG! Vendors have been enforcing oversized and for many use scenarios way too impractical phones onto us for many years. I miss the media criticising this over and over! Because it's an obvious lack of choice.

Sustainabilty obviously is very important. It does not only save money. It also is good for our environment and saves especially power users from having to switch their carefully and intensely customized phone way too often, which is very bothersome, as someone REALLY using a lot of a smartphone's capabilities can need up to some hundreds of hours of modifying, installing, removing and configuring whatever.

Thank you for attention!

I could go for some tips&tricks type articles if it's not just an exhaustive list. "10 tips to ______" sounds cool, but that means I get 2 sentences and half of it is how to turn on said feature or complete the tip. I'd like to get more detail of the possibilities, how it interacts with the other features of a phone, etc.

There seems to be a lot of fluff in articles. I'm not sure if it's for SEO, because there is a minimum word count goal in the industry, or what, but it feels like there is a lot of extra fluff that isn't adding much to the articles. As I've gotten older over the past 12 years I've been actively commenting, I've gotten much less time to read it all.

The search is difficult to find what you're looking for. If you search "RCS iphone" you get a review for a case as a result plus you get "50+ Awesome high-res wallpapers, perfect for your iPhone, Galaxy Note, LG, Pixel and others" as a result too. Like, what????

Let me mull on the topic of "what articles I want to see" more. I'll be back

I agree that this site does have a lot of fluff, but it's the only site I know with consistent quality. I don't mind the fluff tho cause that's what skimming's for. Glad it's not like Tech Radar where it has so many ads my phone starts begging for its life. Speaking of which, I'm gonna go whitelist this site real quick. A normal amout of ads, I don't mind, but its for sites like Tech Radar that I have Ublock.

As soon as I whitelist, I get a request to recieve notifications... And while this is now critisizm of the site, the hamburger menu takes a long time to open on the mobile site. Minor thing, but if the time could be quartered it would make a big difference. Overall, great site. Next to Android Police.

In my previous posts to you on two different articles I suggested featuring versus articles more prominently. I meant any two popular phones not necessarily apple vs android. And you could feature just one versus article in the black section (the section which appears after opening the website i dont know the technical term for it :)) or after the black section once every few days.

Also in another article i said in the west you perceive hands folded as a sign of dominance and we perceive it as a sign of submission. I meant arms crossed. Didn't know what I was thinking when I wrote that.
