The Bluetooth S-pen removal alone is enough for me to skip, I used it as a remote shutter all the time when doing photography, and while a lot of people might not notice, I really would, I mean in the past 6 months I have probably shot 12,000 images on my phone alone, and thousands of them have been long exposures, astro shots, timed photos at distance like wildlife etc.such a simple little feature.

Talk about penny pinching for a few $ for the module.

As an avid Samsung user for years, its disappointing to see much they follow apples drip feeing model, and hopefully people speak with their wallets.

This is bloat IMO. At least with the extra calendar, email, browser, etc. those have the potential to be used everyday. How often do you plan on getting in a car crash or being stranded w/o cell signal?

You’ll never know until it happens to you. One day you’ll be wishing they did include it, but hey, that will never happen to you right. It’s called peace of mind.

Futile comeback. That "peace of mind" is for individuals who are constantly putting themselves in that position (at least with the need for satellite calling). For the crash detection, again, how many accidents do you plan on getting in?

Car accidents aren’t something you expect, it’s about being prepared for the unexpected. Features like crash detection and satellite connectivity have already saved lives, whether after an accident or when stranded without reception, especially with 2G and 3G networks shutting down in most countries.

It’s disappointing because I’ve been waiting months for the S25, but it looks like I’ll be switching back to an iPhone. Every day, the news is filled with reports of car accidents and lives lost, which definitely adds to my anxiety.

Everyone has their own opinion, and that’s fair. I just hope Samsung introduces these features next year, but honestly, I’ve lost hope at this point.
