I gravitate towards Google because I love the Pixel design and software experience. I go back and forth between that and Samsung flagships, but OneUI has gotten a little stale in my opinion, so for now I'm pretty firmly on team Pixel.

Sony Ericsson of course!

First they were creating the best feature phones.

And then they were manufacturing the best Android phones.

I like underdog brands. I've owned a ton of phones. It's an addiction. Vivo was good. OnePlus always a solid pick. ZTE is ok, minus the lack of updates. I like anything different. Loved the pop-up selfie cam. Love UDC. Brand doesn't quite matter to me. Just show me something cool and I'll buy it.

It would be different if when looking at a Laker shirt on my phone it looks yellow on my device, but when it arrives it's a burnt orange, but that is not nor has it ever been the case; so your comment is inaccurate. See the example below:

I recently ordered online a shirt with a particular shade of green but I got a shirt with another shade of green.

I've been using Samsung since Note5. Before that I was using Blackberry Z10. I liked Blackberry for the security. When they started to go under or veer away from making phones, I chose Samsung. The build quality reputation, hardware and software quality and Android integration. Their security update reputation was lacking at the time, but so were most others. Understanding that Android is an "open source" kernel vs Blackberry 10's QNX made me wary of even going to Android. Then they came out with Good Lock. This was a very good effort to help keep the security levels higher than other phone manufacturers other than Apple. But Apple's proprietary control over their phones turned me off. Even Blackberry would let me more choices than Apple would. So, Samsung is the one I chose and haven't looked back, even when the Note7 catastrophe occurred.

i used to be oneplus fan and now move to vivo for a while, but expect for google pixel for better and oppo

for now only samsung and iphone with better all round camera back and front camera in spectacular result.

Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo only good in back camera and so so front cam with 1080p video cam

Why do you want 4k on selfie ? I bet you don't even have a 4k display.

I understand 4k on main camera, so you can enjoy that 4k footage in 10-15-20 years. But 4k on selfie camera ? Ok, would be nice, but 100% not a deal breaker, no one needs it.

Samsung and Apple are actually the worst for main camera. Oppo, xiaomi, vivo are way better

Apple because it is the only brand that uses stainless steel frame. After holding the Iphone in hand, all other smartphones feels like toys. Also it has the best looking UI and best OS optimisation.

Huawei. But I'll wait until they're back running flagship Kirin chips. Their screentime with Snapdragons are kinda sad. My Mate 40 pro is still snappy and despite having a 5G radio, my area still has no 5G. Their camera tech is always ahead, the excellent build quality and after sales repair support is unmatched. So far, the lack of GMS wasn't much of an issue in my case.

Yeah, the variable aperture feature is great for portraits, and the periscope zoom is one of the best. I find Huawei's night mode a bit too aggressive at times but other than that, pretty solid cameras.

Correct! I was wondering about the stainless steel frame, but you're absolutely correct. It's been a couple of years since anyone other than Apple tried the stainless steel thing on a phone.
