Google Pixel, I switch occasionally to Samsung after reading reviews on new models. However, it seems I always miss the Pixel camera (I don't care what the reviews say, it consistently gives me the best shots) and miss week 1 release updates, betas and how it stays faster/lag free over time compared to Samsung.

I might have to edit my preference from Google to Samsung. My 7 Pro is still on June 2023 sec patch. Has not received the July update yet.

My Samsungs all have the July update and got them at the beginning of the month.

Apple. You almost always get what you expect.

Microsoft. My Surface Duo, to me, is the best foldable, and I don't understand the reason they decided to scrap the Surface Duo line.

I don't know that it's laziness, as much as companies trying to establish a model identity. Why change style for the sake of change, if it works? There's only so much you can do to a slab, and I doubt anyone is going to call the S23, iPhone, or Nothing Phone unattractive.

Car manufacturers do the same thing with cars, providing major face-lifts once every eight to ten years.

If any company is lazy Mariyan, then Apple is the company that wins the prize for being the most complacent company that trickles out features, and even then many of those features were on Android before Apple takes and use them. Where is Apple's foldables again? Where is Apple's iOS supporting split screen multitasking? Where is Apple's 8k video recording again?

I really like the Samsung brand since the Note 8 release, I found the secure folder perfect for my personal use. I have a S23 Ultra and a A54 right now, and both are great phones. The only thing I miss is the micro sd card in the premium market, because Im a old-school person and I like having my music offline at all times.

Right now, I really like what Oppo has been up to. Both the Find X6 Pro and Find N2 are really appealing devices. An awesome and stylish design and great advancements in camera tech, as well as a nice compact foldable with great battery life.

Asus has been on fire too with the Zenfone 10 and the ROG Phone 7 series. Keeping the 3.5mm jack alive with great specs, price, designs. I just wish they had micro SD card slots.

And Sony finally seemed to have brought their A game to the Xperia 1 V. They managed to get some good and more importantly, easy to use camera software on their phone that pairs with that hardware. I'll be looking forward to seeing what concessions they make on the Xperia 5 V, even though that name is so silly.

It seems that you only commented on the images and finally the video chart. In practice, all the mentioned things will bother you in the long run, and I must say with certainty that the Sony mobile flagship can compete with the previous year's flagship of Apple and Samsung right now.

If it was just out of interest, definitely Sony, but in my practice, between 3 brands, currently, due to the quality, service, and high power, in most situations, "upward hardware makes my work easier because I'm not a gamer", respectively Apple, Google, and Samsung.

Don't you feel that Samsung has been a bit lazy in the past couple of years? I can't tell one model from another anymore...

Once you get the perfect mix, it's a mistake to change it
