Yea. I'm not an ecosystem guy. The only thing that comes close to me having an ecosystem is having an S22 Ultra & the Watch 4 Classic, which I don't wear everyday.
My 14 Pro Max has been a nice introduction to iOS, & one that also lets me know that I can't solely use an iPhone like I could an Android.
Most of the phones I owned were samsung and although the photo qualities are good it doesn't capture accurate colors sometimes in photos. So for stuff like online shopping or things were color accuracy is paramount I don't think samsung is the best choice.
It would be different if when looking at a Laker shirt on my phone it looks yellow on my device, but when it arrives it's a burnt orange, but that is not nor has it ever been the case; so your comment is inaccurate. See the example below:
Oh man don't remind me. A few years ago we went to a Dolphins game and at the time I had a Note 9 and my wife was on her iPhone 8 Plus. The Fins were in their aqua throwbacks but the wifey's iPhone made them look like the San Diego Chargers. Ryan Tannehill looked like Phillip Rivers in that 17.

Nokia N8 -> HTC One M8 -> OnePlus 5t -> Samsung S10+
Still with my S10+
The last flagship with a headphone jack and memory card expansion

I can't think of anything I have needed to do that would require an Android phone.
Don't you find OneUI a bit sluggish, though? I've always thought this is the one big drawback with Samsung phones...
You gotta try a flagship Vivo or Iqoo. You've already given Oppo and Xiaomi a fair and worthwhile shot so.... Just do it.
