Well, before PhoneArena went downhill, you could keep a history of the phones you've had. I've had plenty. I would try out a phone for a month or two and then come back to iPhone. Just something about the how everything works together that keeps me coming back.
For now I'm using a Xiaomi Mix 4, but I'm definetely not team Xiaomi !!! They had amazing phones in the past years:
-Mi 10 pro (brilliant speakers, great camera)
-Mi 10 Ultra (that transparent design was extra special, brilliant camera)
-Mi 10T Pro (excellent all around, great price, punched way above, got one for my father, he still uses it)
-Mi 11 Pro (Samsung GN2 sensor in early 2021, wink wink Pixel 8 series)
-Mi 11 Ultra great camera, ugly design, solid phone, but wasn't the biggest fan of it
-Mix 4 (peak everything !!! Great camera, brilliant design, beautiful unibody ceramic, display shape is stellar with the slightest of curve and on the squarish side, best implementation of under display camera, first big vapor chamber cooling, sd 888+, amazing haptics, amazing speakers ... in fact Mix 4 walked in China so that 13 pro can run worldwide, tons of similarities)
-12t pro solid all around, but too expensive for it's market
-13 pro great phone, great price after 4 months
11T series bust
12 series bust
12s ultra bust
13 ultra bust of the bust, the biggest flop ever (can any phone be more ugly that this one ?) It looks like a Cannon or Nikon from 2005
I root for Pixels, but I'll never get one
I root for Sony's Xperia 1 line,but I'll never get one
I root for Vivo, I would get one if they'll come up with something really special, but I'm sure they won't
I like Oppo. It used to always be something missing from their flagships, but they really nailed it with Find X6 Pro, brilliant phone although I don't like this big circular camera thing.
I low key like s22 ultra & s23 ultra, looking forward to s24 ultra. 1 inch main camera and I'm sold (won't happen, I know)
This may come as a shocker for those that follow my posts, but Huawei. They've always had the best cameras, and that's important to me. And they've always had a little extra in the software department. Like their video editor is pretty much capcut. The only negative lately software side is they no longer do app drawer and I do wish they'd bring that back.
I really like the fold out design of the Xs2 better than the Fold In design of my Samsung Fold 4. The current phones I have are the Xs2, the Fold 4, and the S22Ultra (which I still call the note).
The biggest gripes people have with Huawei is 4G and no Google. I completely get that. Not many people carry two phones all the time (one for work, one for personal). I keep google things on my Samsung. With Petal Search, Huawei has overcome not having the Google Play store for the most part because almost all apps that aren't google are on there.
As far as 4G vs 5G, I've said for years I do not care about 5G. I honestly can't tell a difference between my Samsung or Huawei when watching youtube or surfing the net. I don't really online game on my phone, so maybe that would be different.
Finally, the charging on the Huawei is ridiculously fast. I feel like I usually charge my phone for 20 to 30 minutes when I wake up in the morning, and another 15 to 25 minutes at night when I get home.

I don't even follow one plus anymore
Samsung.
Build quality, camera quality, the way the (non-foldables) improve from the previous year & last but certainly no least, Good Lock.
They can't be a good idea. Lol
