My favorite was Huawei...had the Mate 2, 8, 9, but living in the USA, and their "ban" and no google play store, had to give them up.

Yeah, I know I am in a special situation that I can go to China once a year and pick up a new phone. It sucks I can't get it shipped to me, but I go to China anyway for work. Now that T-mo and Sprint merged, I have noticed my signal quality on 4G is sometimes wonky. I'm looking forward to Huawei's new version of 5G, and then I think no complaints from me. The only apps I really use are CapCut, Instagram, Wechat, and Whatsapp. I have all of those on the Huawei. My work office suite is all microsoft and office works fine on Huawei so I'm lucky.

I was able to with a Huawei mate 30 pro 5g a few years ago. Android phones have every feature iphone does, you just get to pick what you want most. Don't want a notch fine, Android has you covered. Don't want a punch hole, android has you covered. With iPhone you're stuck with whatever design and features they have. If there's something you really don't like, like an obtrusive notch, you're stuck with. Choice is why people pick an Android phone. I won't even look at what apple phones have to offer until they get rid of the notch and/or dynamic island.

What if I don' like android UI? I prefer IOS, everything is much more organised. I have owned a couple of android phones, also I tried a Samsung A54 from a friend, wich he kept only 1 week and came back to Iphone. Also I do like the notch/dynamic island because it looks different vs other phones. Oneplus, Samsung, Xiaomi, Realme, etc they all look the same from the front, Iphone is the only one that looks different. I'm very pleased with Iphone features, except maybe I would like to have reverse wireless charging but is not a deal breaker for me. Iphone takes the best pictures and videos and also you don't loose quality when you post them on social media. So, stainless steel frame, IOS, different front design, and best camera, for me is the perfect phone.

HTC back in their prime. It was their innovation for me. They may have executed some of them poorly but the idea was there. I was also a big fan of their designs. I wish they would they would release flagships again.

It was Motorola before Google bought them and stripped them of all their intellectual IP. Also Nokia pre Microsoft buyout they always did great things with their cameras. Truly ahead of their time

Samsung and Apple, but I've completely lost my loyalty to both companies as they keep rehashing the same crap, and am ready to try something new, if the phone/watch/earbuds work together as good as Samsung and Apple's do.

I don't have a favorite brand. I think they've all had their strides, here and there. Rather than getting caught up in a brand, I look at the device itself.

I've been buying Samsung phones for years now, but if ditch them if only Asus would make a Rog Phone Ultra that was fully Verizon compatible.
