Dude! That's the only way I know how to text. If the word doesn't exist in the phones' dictionary (like a nickname or foreign word that I type on a regular basis), I add it so it can be swiped like everything else. ?
You might be able to help me then... occasionally for really short words like "it" or "and" I sometimes can't get the keyboard to recognize I'm trying to swipe. It's like the word is too short for it to recognize I'm swiping versus long pressing or something. Any thoughts?
What kind of keyboard are you using? Swipe input seems (to me) to be the most accurate on the Samsung keyboard, with the Pixel coming in a close second. I generally just start at the first letter & don't lift my finger until I reach the last letter. I'm also an ampersand guy, so I don't spell out "and" when I'm texting. But I just tested it out & it worked fine. The way I learned swyping was whatever word you're spelling, don't lift your finger off the keyboard until you're done inputting the word.

I had a Treo 600 for a couple years. Still have it, but it's useless.
They do a Treo 600-style with modern tech and Android 13 and id hop on it like a duck on a junebug
I gotcha.
Not gonna lie, I was hyped about this upcoming lineup that unfortunately never happened.

I wanted to see how a keyboard-less Pre works be because the keyboard going out was the main reason I saw it at the service & repair center.
WebOS was so much cleaner than clunky ass Android back then, but it still lacked a lot of features; including an on-screen keyboard.

Some flagship phones still have it! Again, the Xperia lineup!
I want 3 things to return
Simtrays have the MicroSD sockets on them
3.5mm Headphone Jacks
Easily Swappable Batteries
Attachment for a wrist band. I refrain from using cases and always sweat a little when taking pictures by the sea or a ravine.
