Notification LED!

Some flagship phones still have it! Again, the Xperia lineup!

Eventually started using Blackberrys as work phones only. I miss the keyboard for work emails and texts. But again newer third party made blackberrys had a really bad build quality - both my Key1 and Key2 were wrecks.

An "affordable" (my definition of 'affordable' is probably much more stringent than yours...) unlocked smartphone with a design that is NOT the classic slab-style all-touchscreen... but not one of those expensive new-fangled foldables, either...

That's one tough cookie right there...

Sliders. Whether keyboard or game pad like Sony did or even media controls like Nokia. They are cool.

Yeah, what happened to sliders? A physical KBD paired with a big touchscreen seems legit...

Yes I loved my note 3, probably my all time favorite... All the rooting goodies and abundance of Samsung gimmicks!

"but I don't remember it being on my Note 5."

I meant Note 4. I don't know where typing Note 5 came from. Chose not to get that because it didn't have an SD card slot. Fast forward to 7 years later & oh, the irony.?

"All the rooting goodies and abundance of Samsung gimmicks!"

I only rooted my Droid Razr Maxx to have unlimited hotspot & to be able to change the font. Once I ditched Moto in January 2014 & went w/ Sammy there was never any reason to root my phone because of all of the "gimmicks".

I've been swiping for a while too. But I am extra swipe heavy now :P

Dude! That's the only way I know how to text. If the word doesn't exist in the phones' dictionary (like a nickname or foreign word that I type on a regular basis), I add it so it can be swiped like everything else. ?

I'm not a fan of the BB keyboard. Buttons were very close together and I would always mistype. My LG Ally or LG enV were my favorite keyboards.

BlackBerry's were so overrated to me. And once I started repairing them on a regular basis my opinion of them grew larger.
