I have the z fold 4 and looking to trade it in for the 5. Not because I'm super excited for the 5 but rather because the 4 is already failing me with it's unrefined hinge. Also, the trade in I get from the 4 will mostly cover the costs of the 5.
Foldables in general have not ended up as exciting as I thought they would have been. I just stuck to my Pixel 6 Pro since there were too many tradeoffs such as worse camera, less battery life, less durable, higher price, etc.
They’re virtually the exact same phones as the previous ones, the specs are midrange at best, and the cameras are something that are found on entry level devices. Yet for all that, you’re expected to pay a HUGE price premium, all to stare at an ugly crease.

i think all phones from samsung are a disappointment after huawei ban
OK I respect your opinion but what part did Samsung play in the Huawei ban? Seems like missplaced blame/aggression.

I don't know if they helped in any way banning huawei, all I know is that they killed years of innovation when they banned it.
basically s23 ultra is still an upgraded p40 pro+ with some bumped mp and same small sensors mostly.

I still think the Motorola Razr Plus is a better device with a more functional cover screen.
