Good in looks, practically not.

There's a reason Apple has flat displays. They understand the market. The other phone makers are just doing it to be cool and different but it's stupid.

We heard the same argument for large phones, HD displays, AMOLED displays, widgets, wireless charging, etc... All were stupid and Apple didn't have them because they were useless - until Apple invented them.

I clearly remember commenters here telling us that the human eye can't see any difference beyond Apple's "retina" resolution. Then crowing about how much sharper the first HD display on an iPhone was compared to the last model.

While I can see how people prefer flat displays, I can't see how a curved display "feels very unnatural in the hand".

Like it's too edgy, rubbing my palm and feels uncomfortable. It's personal feeling/perception and probably depends on how you hold your phone, too.

All of my most recent phones have had curved screens. I don't really have a preference but what do want is a phone with curved sides so that it doesn't dig into your hands. I'm looking at you iPhone

That's understandable, the perfect combination would be a curved back with a flat screen.

Yes I like sony's take on bezels vs the chunky bezels in the pixel 7 with a hole punch too. If only sonys were so expensive.

I feel you, Sony is overshooting with Xperia prices...

With or without a case, accidental touches are 95% user error; & probably a higher percentage.

We're holding it wrong? :)))
