This is an interesting segment. People obviously have little desire to unfold their foldables (which is why they clamor for regular-sized front displays), yet this one asks you to unfold TWICE, in different directions. For a premium price. 🤔

One of the reasons I’m upgrading is Apple Intelligence, though I’m realistically prepared to be underwhelmed by it.

The main detractor for corporations is the 30% protection tax in the forced app store. Enterprises often use custom apps delivered by application vendors. Why on earth would anyone spend an extra 30% on those, just because Apple wants money? Everything about Apple's VR endeavour is a disaster. Especially when software is already one of the biggest expenses for larger corporations?

Best Buy gave me $1,099 for my iPhone 14 Pro 128gb for a Pixel 9 Pro XL and they also gave me a $200 gift card.

This is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. Google is good at what they do, the other search engine companies cannot keep up. Do they want us to use bing? Bing is a joke... so is ask.com. Companies use Google because it's good for business. Of course Samsung is going to use Google as a default search engine, Samsung phones run android... Which is Google software. Why would goootle make another company it's default search for a software they own. Google also can run on several platforms.

Funny. This is the year I plan not to upgrade. Waiting to see if their foldable is ready by next year.
