Sold&devoted Samsung flips since first in 2007 w/repeated trips to Hell w/o case. Thought never die but did 4yrs later due to split second brain fart on my part. Perfectly content having phone. Getting dumb phone&turning into mindless Puppet, like good % do,oddly enough never appealed to me? Name Samsung model escapes me that I replaced it w/is still one sleekest&most beautiful they ever had to this day. 95% Screen w/multiple functions that only exist on certain dumb phones today? Or need another phone again, wanted buy 5 when Target had'em on sale&wished I'd been persistent Prick too. Honestly passive for most part&obviously not alone telling them to blow me? Wasn't long after changed their adds w/no reference simply stated prices reserved for Verizon customers only..?
>>But I digress, apparently only qualified one here&elsewhere to give Convoy 3 perfect score for Internet&Multimedia. Never had single problem w/it when I haven't used it once but would've got different phone had I wanted to though. Apparently isn't clear enough w/o flashing lights for who P.T Barnum loves...;)
Wanted a good flip phone, something that seems to be hard to find nowadays. I really wanted to like this phone - ruggedized, no slip coating makes it easy to hold, not to big for pocket, front button lock prevents accidental Pocket Texting, good camera, awesome flashlight, lots of ways to customize it, and great battery live are things I love. However, the muddy call quality, less than great coverage, tiny text readout when composing a message, weak Vibrate take a lot away from what could have been a great phone. Can't believe the voice quality, since it only has to be a phone, unlike Smart phones that try to be a computer as well.
Very similar to the convoy 2. The main menu button is not as easy to manipulate. Same average camera. The biggest problem is the text. There has to be a software issue here. The font on the convoy 3 is half the size as the convoy 2 making it very difficult to use. Neither Samsung or Verizon could fix it. Both were suprised how small it is. Text font size options do not work
