iPod Touch gets some possible specs
It seems pretty likely that we're going to be seeing the announcement of the new line of iPods at tomorrow's Apple announcement, along with the announcement for the new iPhone, but that doesn't stop the rumor mill from churning out ideas on what to expect from the new iPod Touch. Unfortunately, there isn't really a lot of information to go on.
Mobile consultant Will Strafach claims that the new iPod Touch will feature display that Apple will no doubt tag with the "Retina Display" marketing, with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels. The new iPod Touch is also expected to have a 32-nanometer A5 processor which is the same as the processor found in the 2nd generation iPad 2. The iPhone 4S and the original iPad 2 had 45-nanometer A5 chips, but the iPad 2 that was released at a lower price along with the new iPad had the 32-nanometer A5.
If this does turn out to be true, it would make it more likely that the new iPod Touch could also get Siri.
