ZTE introduces its new logo
Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE is changing the look of its corporate logo. The company says that the rounded design, and lighter color of the new logo, has to do with the company's new CGO philosophy (Cool – Green – Open). The manufacturer is also using a new slogan, "Tomorrow never waits." ZTE says that's its focus will be on M-ICT, or Mobile Information and Communication Technologies.
The new logo is also supposed to show consumers a more fun-loving side to ZTE. The company has also been looking to expand its presence in the U.S., and in October ZTE signed deals to become the official smartphone of three NBA teams, the New York Knicks, the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors.
Last month, a dual SIM ZTE tablet visited the FCC. The K70 is expected to feature a 7-inch to 7.5-inch display, support for both WCDMA and GSM connectivity, and Android 4.4.x KitKat pre-installed out of the box. The slate is expected to be priced at under $200 in the U.S.
