Yahoo Weather will now give a 15-minute warning before the skies open
What good is a weather app if the information it is giving you can be easily discovered by pointing your head out the window? An update to Yahoo Weather now makes this app even more useful, by giving users a 15-minute head start before rain and snow starts falling from the sky. This gives you ample time to grab an umbrella or a jacket.
The app is available for iOS and Android and is a free download from either store. Yahoo Weather offers hourly, 5-day and 10-day forecasts, and photos from Flickr match your current location and weather conditions. You can also get a look at all the weather data that you would ever want to see, including radar maps, humidity, wind and the UV index. Forecasts and weather data can be seen for each of the cities that you are interested in.
