Yahoo Sports for iOS gets update to allow you to make GIFs of big time plays
The Yahoo Sports app for iOS has added a new, fun feature that it is calling Loops. Yes, it is a GIF, but with captions, animation and comments added. The idea is to find that defining moment in a game. Think an alley oop from D-Wade to LeBron, or Sid the Squid completing a natural hat trick on a breakaway. The moments don't have to be heroic. Met fans will love to see your spin on Bill Buckner's famous error in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series as the image plays over and over again.

The update is a total redesign of Yahoo Sports for iOS 7 with new team and player pages. The football page adds a red zone indicator which is always good to have. And you can now look at leagues in the order you want to see them in. No longer will you have to skip over leagues that you have no interest in. And of course, there are the proverbial bug fixes and performance enhancements.

If you love sports, and own an iOS 7 powered Apple iPhone or Apple iPad, head over to the App Store and grab up this updated version of Yahoo Sports. You might find it to be a home run, touchdown, slam dunk and a triple OT Stanley Cup Playoff winner all in one.
