Xiaomi co-founder and president Mr. Lin Bin, announced on Tuesday that the company will unveiling the Xiaomi Mi 4c on September 22nd. The executive also confirmed that there will be two versions of the handset. One will come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. The other features 3GB of the sweet stuff, with 32GB of internal memory.
Pricing will start as low as the equivalent of $235 USD for the model with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The version with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of memory will be priced a little higher. Both variants will feature the Type-C USB port for faster transfer speeds and charging times. A 3080mAh juicer is expected for both models, and an infrared port is still possible.
The Xiaomi Mi 4c is expected to launch on October 3rd. When word about this phone was first mentioned by Xiaomi, the talk was that the manufacturer would limit the release to 100,000 handsets. That seems hard to believe, but we should find out on September 22nd what Xiaomi's been thinking. And perhaps we will get a better idea about when the Xiaomi Mi 5 will finally see the light of day.
