White Motorola Moto Z Play leaks out
Motorola Mobility (a Lenovo company since 2014) may soon announce a new member of its Moto Z family of smartphones. Allegedly called Moto Z Play, the upcoming handset can now be seen in a few photos that show a white version of it - not long after other leaked images revealed a black model.
Unlike the Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid that are already available in the US (exclusively on Verizon Wireless), the Moto Z Play isn't a high-end phone. However, it looks a lot like its more advanced siblings, having a fingerprint scanner on the front, and a round, protruding camera with dual LED flash on the back. Moreover, the Z Play will certainly be compatible with Motorola's Moto Mods.
While the Moto Z and Z Force sport 5.5-inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) displays, the Moto Z Play only has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen. The handset should further feature an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB or 64 GB of expandable storage space, and a battery of at least 3300 mAh. Right now, the Moto Z Play runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but we're pretty sure that it's going to be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat sooner or later (just like the other Moto Z phones).

The Moto Z Play should obviously be cheaper than the Moto Z and Moto Z Force, though for now we don't have exact details regarding its price or release date. If you're interested in this device, how much would you be willing to pay for it? And would you choose the white, or the black variant?
