Vivo teases the “faster than iPhone” X6 – all-metal design and three finishes confirmed

16comments
Vivo has been teasing its upcoming X6 for a while now. The next flagship the company intends to launch is a bit of a mystery, but many sources say it'll rock the deca-core MediaTek Helio X20, 4 GB of RAM, a 21 MP camera, a 4,000 mAh battery, and a fingerprint scanner on its back. Additionally, rumors claim that the phone will have an extra 1 GB of RAM dedicated to its graphics processor, which would make it the first smartphone to rock such a feature.

Vivo's promotion for the device so far has included the flaunting of a few different metal cases for the device, as well as a video, which shows it performing faster than an iPhone 6s in an app-launching test. Today, the company took to social media Weibo to reveal some bits about the handset's design. In vivo's words, the X6 will rock a full metal design, with up to 98% of the phone being made of the cool material. It will also come in three finishes – (drumroll, please) silver, gold, and rose gold.

The phone is, apparently, nearing its launch, however, there is no concrete date set for it just yet.
