Verizon and AT&T reveal LG Watch Sport prices

Google and LG today announced two new smartwatches - the LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport, both running Android Wear 2.0. Only the Watch Sport will be available via US carriers, and we now know just how much it's going to cost.

Verizon and AT&T will both start selling the LG Watch Sport later this week, on February 10. On Verizon, you'll be able to get the smartwatch for $379.99 outright, or $329.99 with a 2-year contract agreement. On AT&T, the device will be available for $17.50 per month over 20 months with an AT&T Installment Plan, or for $49.99 with a 2-year agreement when an LG G5 or V20 smartphone is purchased on AT&T Next.

The LG Watch Sport has built-in LTE connectivity, thus letting you make and receive calls without needing a smartphone. Of course, you can pair the watch at any time with a smartphone or a tablet, as long as these run at least Android 4.3, or iOS 9.

Offering a 1.38-inch circular display with 480 x 480 pixels, the LG Watch Sport features a Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, GPS, NFC (for Android Pay), heart rate monitor,
and Google Fit integration. It's also got 768 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, and a 430 mAh battery. Overall, the LG Watch Sport seems to be the most capable and powerful Android Wear smartwatch to date. Let us know if you're planning to buy one!
