User Agent profile and GFX benchmark site reveal Samsung Galaxy A3, SM-A300
Earlier on Friday, we told you about a leak that revealed images of the Samsung Galaxy A5. The phone offers a metallic body, 5 inch 720 x 1280 display, and a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor. The honey comes in the form of a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper. The model number is SM-A500.
Now, a User Agent profile, together with information from the GFX benchmark site, seems to have discovered a lower spec'd version of the Galaxy Alpha series, the Samsung Galaxy A3. With a model number of SM-A300, the screen weighs in at 4.8 inches with a resolution of 540 x 960. A quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 CPU is on board according to the GFX site (although the clock speed is listed as 1.4GHz on the User Agent profile), with 64-bit processing. The Adreno 306 GPU crunches the graphics. 1GB of RAM is inside. We should see an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing one. We expect 8GB of native storage with 5GB available to the user. Android 4.4.4 is pre-installed.

The Galaxy A5 is already ahead of the Galaxy A3, having been certified in China by TENNA. Hopefully we will get some more info soon on the lower-end model, including some images, pricing info and availability.
