Updated TENAA listing shows version of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with 3GB of RAM
Yesterday, a teaser produced by Xiaomi revealed that the device that was thought to be called the Redmi Note 2 Pro, is actually going to be unveiled tomorrow as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.  Along with this new moniker comes an updated TENAA listing that confirms that the phone will have two versions; one will contain 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage, while the other offers 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal memory.

The TENAA listing also reveals that a huge 4000mAh battery will be powering the Redmi Note 3. That explains why the new model is roughly .5mm thicker than its predecessor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. The remaining specs include a 5.5-inch screen, carrying a 1080 x 1920 FHD display. The MediaTek MT6795 chipset will be driving the phone, which will feature a rear-facing 13MP camera. A front-facing 5MP snapper handles selfies and video chats.

Tomorrow, Xiaomi will be unveiling the device during its "Grand Finale" event. We also will see the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 introduced. Other devices possibly greeting the light of day Tuesday include an Xiaomi smartwatch and the Xiaomi Mi 5. There is also a chance that Xiaomi will announce that the Xiaomi Mi 4 and the Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro will be heading to the U.S. Both devices were recently certified by the FCC, paving the way for Xiaomi to finally break into the U.S. smartphone market.

Thanks for the tip!
