Updated HTC Sense TV app returns to the Windows Phone Store
Last April, HTC removed the HTC Sense TV app from the Google Play Store and the Windows Phone Store. The app allowed those totin' the HTC One (M8) to use their handset as a remote control for their T.V. It also offered users a program guide and could alert you when your favorite show was on the tube.
At the time that the app was taken down, HTC said that owners of the handset would receive a link to download the Peel app that HTC Sense TV was based on. While that link never came, it now appears that owners of the Windows Phone version of the HTC One (M8) have been receiving a link that loads an updated version of the HTC Sense TV app on their phone.
The new HTC Sense TV app is back in the Windows Phone Store with version 1.3.0.0 ready to be downloaded and installed on your phone for free. No word yet on whether HTC plans on returning the app to Android users.
