Twitter adds 'night mode' to its iOS app
Last month, Twitter added night mode to its Android app. Enabling this option changes the screen from one with a white background and dark lettering to one with a black background and white lettering. This makes the screen easier to read at night. Disabling night mode reverts the screen back to the original setting.
The night mode option should be rolling out now to those rockin' an iOS device. Another new feature that is on the way is the quality filter. This will prevent users from seeing duplicate tweets or automated content that might contain bullying or threatening messages.
To turn on night mode, click on the Me tab on the bottom of the page. Click on the 'gear' icon and the Turn on night mode tab. To turn night mode off, repeat the directions and click on Turn off night mode. The update should already be hitting some iOS devices now. If it hasn't reached your iPhone or iPad yet, keep checking the Twitter app because eventually it will reach your phone or tablet.
