Twitter CEO will interview Edward Snowden and you can submit your questions
We don't think it's necessary to tell you who Edward Snowden is at this point. As the most famous whistleblower in modern history, he's become sort of an unofficial digital security guru for most people. People generally assume that if Snowden uses it, it's secure enough for everyone.
And since Snowden is charged with breaking multiple national security laws, the online privacy messiah has its own group of supporters, trying to make the US government pardon him and let him return home. The group calls itself “Pardon Snowden” and in a tweet on Monday it announced that it will be live streaming a Q&A session between Snowden and Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey.
No topic is set for the interview, but we can safely assume that Trump's upcoming presidency will be a hot topic. Also, regular users have the option of submitting questions for the Q&A if they want to. All they have to do is tweet their question with the hashtag #AskSnowden, and it might make its way to the notorious whistleblower.
Twitter hasn't confirmed, nor denied that the Q&A will be happening, but we're pretty sure that this information is legit.
You can tune in for the Q&A session today (Tuesday, 13 December), at 12:05 PM EST. It will be live streamed via Twitter's Periscope app.
