Twitter 7.2 for Android released with automatic night mode feature

0comments

A few weeks after rolling out a major redesign of its app, Twitter is bringing yet another important new feature to the Android platform: night mode. The new option was available for less than a week in the beta version of Twitter for Android, but now is being pushed to a larger audience.

You will now find the new night mode in the Settings and privacy menu, under the Display and sound tab. There are a couple of options that allow you to tweak the way “night mode” will work on your Android device.

For example, you can now set the night mode to go live at sunset and turn off at sunrise. If you don't want to take advantage of the automatic night mode feature, you can try out some of the other settings that you're given in the new update.

Just make sure that you tap “no” when the app asks you if you want night mode to work automatically when you first enable it from the toggle in the navigation drawer.

According to developers, aside from other few minor updates that are meant to make the app perform better on Android devices, there are no changes included in this version.
