Tizen's app store gets demoed on video
It seems to be Tizen day today as after we got to see that leaked Samsung Tizen phone, we've now gotten introduced to the upcoming platform's app store as well. The application storefront has been demoed at the Tizen Developer Conference, and while it doesn't seem to be anything spectacular, it seems like a pretty decent platform for developers to offer their creations on.
Apart from the standard sections like featured apps and categories, there will also be a special section entirely dedicated to discounted apps, which will be extremely comfortable if one wants to easily find the titles that are temporarily available at a lower price. This will also be a great tool for developers to promote their apps.
Naturally, there won't be any immediate benefits for the ordinary users, seeing that Tizen OS phones are yet to hit the market, but developers can now start submitting their apps to the store using the source link below. The Tizen team promises that app evaluation will take up to three days.
