This HTC-made Google Nexus 8 concept uses Android L, BoomSound speakers
Google recently confirmed that it would continue to develop Nexus products, so we’re expecting the company to introduce new Nexus-branded tablets and smartphones in the near future. One of the company’s upcoming slates could be the rumored Nexus 8.
The Nexus 8 was supposed to be unveiled at Google I/O in June, but that obviously didn’t happen. Until (and if) the tablet is announced, here we have an HTC Nexus 8 concept design that tries to envision what Google’s next tablet may look like. The concept has a clean, simple design with BoomSound speakers on the front, and is obviously based on Android L.
Made by My Gadgetic - the same website that made a Nexus 6 smartphone concept several months ago - the Nexus 8 concept can be seen in the slideshow below (photos and video). We shouldn’t be surprised to see both the Nexus 8 tablet and Nexus 6 smartphone being announced towards the end of the year.
