The real HTC One mini 2 shows up (in silver, grey and gold variants)

We recently showed you what was believed to be the HTC One M8 mini, aka HTC One mini 2, but it turns out that the real design of the handset is only now being revealed. @evleaks today posted an image that allows us to take a look at the One mini 2 in three color versions: grey, silver, and gold (the same color variants that the larger One M8 has).

While the new image confirms that the One mini 2 does not come with a Duo rear camera, it also shows that the previous renders of the handset weren’t truly accurate (although not too far off, either). The upcoming mini smartphone has only one LED flash next to its rear camera, and its front speakers are slightly redesigned when compared to those seen on the original HTC One M8.

The One mini 2 should feature a 4.5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels, Android 4.4 KitKat, Sense 6.0 UI, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage space. It’s said that its rear camera is a 13MP one. HTC could announce the new handset later this month - we’ll let you know when it happens anyway.
