The impressive Meizu m2 note attracts 10 million reservations
Earlier this month, when Meizu announced the m2 note (aka Blue Charm Note 2), it said that the handset would be launched on June 12. Meizu is already allowing customers to reserve the device online in China, and today it proudly unveiled that it received 10 million reservations.
While a reservation is not a guaranteed purchase, it's clear that the Meizu m2 note is already hugely successful. But this shouldn't surprise anyone, as the smartphone offers an impressive list of features for just $130 (16 GB model), or $160 if we're talking about the 32 GB variant.
The m2 note runs Android Lollipop (customized with Meizu's own Flyme UI), sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display, and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. The handset also comes with dual SIM capabilities, a 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front-facing camera, 2 GB of RAM, and a 3100 mAh battery.
Meizu is listing the m2 note on its global website, but it's not clear if the smartphone will be officially available to order globally. If not, you'll certainly be able to find it via third-party retailers, though at higher prices than the ones for the Chinese market.
