The world's first dual-core phone to be launched is the LG Optimus 2X which was just released in the manufacturer's home town of South Korea. From there, the Tegra-2 packing handset is expected to capture Europe before the end of this month. The device, which captures video at 1080p, will apparently be offered in a white version next month, targeted for the Korean market.
LG has yet to announce a U.S. carrier for the phone which has created a stir amongst cell phone fans after a video showed the browser on the device beating out the browser on the Apple iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy S.
