TENAA clears the Vivo Y51 and the Vivo Y51L
Tomorrow, Vivo is expected to unveil a pair of beasts. The manufacturer is scheduled to introduce the Vivo X6, and the Vivo X6 Plus. Both models could be powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 chipset, which carries a deca-core CPU. Also expected to be made official on Monday are the Vivo Y51A and Vivo Y37A. All four models have been certified by TENAA, including two variations of the X6 Plus.

This morning, TENAA has cleared the Vivo Y51 and Vivo Y51L. The pair look alike and even sport similar specs except for one minor difference in the build of Android they carry. The Vivo Y51 has Android 5.0 pre-installed, while the Vivo Y51L features Android 5.0.2. The rest of the specs include a 5-inch display carrying a 540 x 960 qHD resolution, and a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU. 2GB of RAM is inside, along with 16GB of internal storage. Those requiring additional memory can access the 128GB capacity micro SD slot that is on board.

Both devices come with an 8MP rear-facing camera, and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The phones support 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB connectivity. They will both measure 7.52mm thick, and tip the scales at 157 grams. The only color option available is white.

As we mentioned, the Vivo Y51A was previously certified by TENAA. That model carries the same specs listed above, except that it offers just 1GB of RAM inside.

All of the different variants could be explained by Vivo tomorrow. Check in often.

Thanks for the tip!
