Survey says: Apple device users are excited about the Apple iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil

Coupon and deals app Retale surveyed more than 500 users of Apple products to gauge their excitement about the Apple iPad Pro. The 12.9-inch slate is expected to launch on November 11th. According to the results, 75% of those participating in the survey, are eagerly awaiting the release of the large-screened slate. 68% of them want to be first in line to try the Apple Pencil. This result probably has Steve Jobs spinning in his grave. The late Apple co-founder was notoriously opposed to the use of a stylus on Apple products.

Answering more general questions, this group of Apple product users like to test out electronics in the store before making a purchase. 87% said that they want to play with a product before opening up their wallet or purse. And 59% of those surveyed still prefer to buy something the old-fashioned way; that is, inside a store rather than through the internet.

The Apple iPad Pro will be priced starting at $799 for the 32GB Wi-Fi only model. $949 will get you the Wi-Fi only 128GB version of the slate. The only cellular enabled model, the 128GB Wi-Fi+ LTE iPad Pro, will carry a $1079 price tag. The Apple Pencil is priced at $99, and $169 will allow you to take home the Smart Keyboard.
