Surprise, surprise - Meizu's m1 note 2 leaks, appears to have fingerprint sensor
Just a day after Xiaomi's upcoming Redmi Note 2 midranger was allegedly leaked, in all its metal unibody glory, we now have a shot of what is, reportedly, going to be its direct competitor – the Meizu m1 note 2 (or Meizu m2 note?). The new handset is supposed to be unveiled on June the 2nd, so pictures of assembled devices leaking through the cracks is not an abnormal thing. Still, we wonder whether the timing has something to do with yesterday's Redmi leak.
Moving on, the Meizu m1 note 2 is expected to sport a MediaTek 6795 SoC and, more interestingly, a fingerprint sensor. The latter speculation has been reinforced by the large hardware button slab that is seen on all leaked m1 note 2 pictures, reminiscent on the one that's on the biometric sensor-equipped Meizu MX4 Pro.
As far as price goes – the m1 note 2 will probably going to be somewhere in the ballpark of $120 – the same price point that the m1 note hovers around. It's safe to say it will be possible to buy one outside of China, just like how the m1 note is available right now, but it will be some months post the June 2nd announcement.
