Sony to unveil a "new flagship product" next week, possibly a global Xperia Z4
Sony is getting ready to host press events on May 27 in Taiwan, and on May 28 in Hong Kong, where, according to local media, the company will unveil a "new Xperia flagship product," alongside the selfie-friendly Xperia C4 and the Xperia Z4 Tablet.
ePrice Taiwan assumes that Sony is planning to showcase a global variant of the Xperia Z4 at both events. Last month, Sony announced a Japan-only Xperia Z4, saying that a global version of it would be introduced at the end of May. So we could, indeed, see the promised global Z4 during next week's events.
The global Xperia Z4 may be called Xperia Z3+. It's not clear if the handset will be identical to the Japanese one, but we hope not. As you may already know, the Z4 that's been introduced in Japan isn't too different from last year's Xperia Z3 (though it's slightly thinner, and certainly more powerful, thanks to the fact that it features an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor).
Sony will also host an event on May 26 in India, but for now we can't be sure that this is also related to a flagship device.

Not long ago, we heard that the Sony Xperia Z4 (its global variant, of course) would be launched by Verizon in the US. We assume the handset will eventually make it to other markets, but don't get your hopes up just yet.
