Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet delayed to late June

Although it was announced in early March, the Xperia Z4 Tablet is not yet available to buy. Initially, the slate was supposed to be released in late May, but its launch was postponed to June 17. Now, Sony says that the device will actually start shipping on June 29, so we're talking about another delay here.

We must mention that only the Xperia Z4 Tablet Wi-Fi will ship on June 29. The tablet's LTE-capable version is currently not listed on Sony's website, so we don't know when this will be released.

Sporting a 10.1-inch display with 2560 x 1600 pixels, the Xperia Z4 Tablet is the successor to last year's Xperia Z2 Tablet (since Sony doesn't have a 10.1-inch Z3 Tablet). The slate runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, and has a 6.1mm-thin water-resistant body. Other features include an 8.1 MP rear camera, 5 MP front-facing camera, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of expandable internal memory. Powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, the Z4 Tablet has a 6000 mAh battery inside.

The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Wi-Fi can be pre-ordered for €599 in Europe (or 499 GBP in the UK). If you want a Bluetooth keyboard to go with it, you'll have to pay an extra €179.99. At the moment, the tablet is not available to pre-order in the US.
