So how small is the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini anyway? (size comparison)
The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini was anything but a secret. We totally knew it was coming thanks to the rumor mill spoiling the surprise with its leaks and all. Oh well. Now that the smartphone is official, are you curious to know how small it really is? Can it really be considered small at all? Well, wonder no more and just take a look below.
It turns out that the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, weighing 107 grams, is considerably lighter and smaller than the 133-gram Samsung Galaxy S4 flagship. In fact, the new handset is pretty much as small and pocket-friendly as last year's Samsung Galaxy S III mini, which is is quite a feat since the former packs a 4.3-inch screen and a 1900mAh battery versus the latter with its 4-inch display and 1500mAh cell.

As we continue comparing the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini to other smartphones, we see that it is only a bit bigger and thicker than the iPhone 5 – a smartphone that many consider to be of a just-right size. Again, note that despite the minor size difference between these two smartphones, the screen on the latest generation Apple iPhone is still a third of an inch smaller in diagonal than what the S4 mini has to offer. So overall, the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini is shaping up like a decent phone. Its proportions are average by today's standards, and its maker needs to be commended for packing so much in a package of this size. Is anybody looking forward to getting one?
